Zach Tazi:

Head Coach

Zack has been deeply involved in soccer since he was just four years old, playing on several different club teams throughout his youth and continuing through high school and one season at the collegiate level. His passion for the sport naturally led him into coaching, where he has spent the past nine years working with various age groups. During that time, he had the rewarding experience of taking two struggling programs and transforming them into highly competitive varsity soccer teams. His dedication and leadership have been recognized with three Coach of the Year awards in Yonkers. Soccer has always been a central part of his life, and he is especially passionate about the progression of the sport and the positive impact it can have on young athletes. It is incredibly important to me to see youth engaged in athletics—particularly soccer—as it builds not only skill but also character, teamwork, and resilience.

Richard Rodriguez

Head Coach

Richard Rodriguez is a passionate soccer enthusiast whose love for the game began at just 8 years old. He spent his youth playing for the White Plains Academy and at Woodlands Middle/High School, where he primarily played as an attacking midfielder but also thrived as a winger. Richard was a three-year Varsity player and helped lead his high school team to two league titles.

After graduating, he was mentored by Coach Alejandro from White Plains Academy, who introduced him to foundational training drills for young players—such as passing, crossing, and ball control. Inspired by his coaches, Richard began offering individual training sessions for athletes ages 12–17, with each session lasting about an hour. His training focuses on improving every aspect of a player's game—from defending to attacking techniques—while also building stamina and confidence.

Richard currently holds a U.S. Soccer D License, which further reflects his commitment to coaching and player development. For him, there’s nothing more rewarding than helping young players grow and witnessing their improvement on and off the field
