BLACK TEAMS

The Highest Competitive Pathway Within Dream FC.

  • 3–4 High-Level Regional & National Tournaments

  • Compete Against Top Clubs & Academies

  • Intentional College Exposure Opportunities

  • Earned Selection Based on Performance & Mindset

If you’re looking for more than what most clubs offer—
you’ve found it.

  • Black Teams are formed through our formal tryout and evaluation process.

All players must first attend Dream FC tryouts and earn placement on a Pink Team to be eligible for Black Team consideration. There are no direct placements onto a Black Team without first making a Pink roster.

Following tryouts, our directors evaluate performance, mindset, and readiness. From two neighboring Pink teams within the same age group, the top 6–8 players are selected to form one Black Team.

    Selection is based on:

    • Technical ability and game performance

    • Tactical understanding and decision-making

    • Competitive mentality and consistency

    • Coachability, leadership, and work ethic

    • Commitment level to training and tournaments

Black Team spots are earned through performance — not requested, not purchased, and not guaranteed year to year.

Final rosters are determined by club directors to ensure the right competitive balance and development environment.

  • Black Teams are formed from top-performing athletes within our Pink Teams who demonstrate:

    • Consistency in performance

    • Competitive mentality

    • Coachability and leadership

    • Commitment to development

This is not an additional recreational layer — it is an elevated competitive pathway.

  • Black Teams will:

    • Continue league play (with there assigned Pink team )

    • Travel to 3–4 high-level showcase tournaments

    • Face top regional and national opponents

    • Participate in events selected specifically for exposure and competition quality

    • receive additional team specific practices

Every event is chosen intentionally — not randomly.

This pathway is not simply about playing stronger opponents — it is about raising personal standards.
